Responsibilities

• Provide bedside care for pre- and post-op patients.
• Administer and record prescribed medications and report adverse reactions.
• Change dressings, insert catheters and start IVs.
• Prepare equipment and assist physician during examinations.
• Educate patients on procedures and participate in discharge planning.
