TotalMed is seeking an Operating Room RN for a 15-week travel assignment in Farmington, CT. The role supports physicians and OR staff, performing circulating, scrub, or first-assistant duties as needed.

The nurse will provide pre- and post-operative education and bedside care in a high-demand surgical setting. Requirements include ACLS and BLS, plus 1–2 years of acute care experience as circulating/scrub RN.

Qualificações

• 1-2 years acute care experience as circulating or scrub RN
• ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Additional certifications may be required before assignment

Responsabilidades

• Provide basic bedside care
• Prepare, administer and record prescribed medications; report adverse reactions
• Serve as liaison between patients' families and operating team
• Ensure correct procedures are performed on the correct patient
• Initiate patient education on medications and home care
