Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Operating Room RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Pasadena, TX. The OR RN will prepare the operating room, assist with patient positioning, manage surgical instruments, and collaborate with the surgical team to provide safe, high-quality perioperative care.

One year of OR RN experience, valid RN license, and BLS certification are required. ACLS/PALS/ENPC or CNOR are preferred.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as an Operating Room RN.
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Prepare the operating room and instruments for procedures.
• Assist in patient positioning and safety during surgery.
• Maintain sterile field and follow infection control protocols.
• Document patient care in the perioperative setting.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure patient safety.
