Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking an Operating Room travel nurse (RN) for a 13-week assignment in Paris, Texas. The role requires 1–2 years of acute care experience as a circulating or scrub nurse, or RN first assistant, with 40 hours per week and 8-hour days.

As an OR travel nurse, you will support surgical teams, provide per- and post-operative care, and educate patients on medications and home care. Certifications ACLS/BLS are required before starting.

Qualifications

• ACLS and BLS certifications are required.
• 1–2 years of acute care experience as a circulating or scrub nurse.
• RN license in good standing for assignment.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care.
• Prepare, administer and record prescribed medications and report adverse reactions.
• Communicate with patient families and operating team members.
• Ensure correct procedure is performed on the correct patient.
• Initiate patient education on medications and home care needs.
