Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN for an Operating Room assignment in Pasadena, Texas. This position requires 18 months of recent acute care surgery experience, an active RN license, and a nursing degree. BLS and ACLS certifications are required.

Travel, housing options, and comprehensive benefits are included. The travel RN will work 36 hours per week on 12-hour day shifts, with duties spanning perioperative patient care, circulating and scrub roles, and patient education

Qualifications

• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Surgery setting.
• Active RN License.
• Degree from an accredited nursing program.
• BLS & ACLS Certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care before, during, and after surgery.
• Serve as circulating nurse and/or scrub nurse as needed.
• Assist in preoperative and postoperative patient education and care.
