Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Operating Room RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Reno, NV. The role involves perioperative care, room setup, and collaboration with the surgical team to ensure patient safety and high-quality care.

Requirements include one year of OR RN experience, active RN license, and BLS. Preferred certifications include ACLS/PALS/ENPC or CNOR. 40 hours/week, days shift, with travel benefits and support from a clinical team.

Qualifications

• One year of recent OR RN experience.
• Valid RN license per state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• ACLS, PALS or ENPC certifications preferred.
• CNOR certification and other licenses may be required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the operating room with instruments and sterile supplies.
• Assist in patient positioning and surgical preparation for procedures.
• Maintain sterile fields and follow infection control protocols.
• Assist team to ensure efficient workflow and instrument availability.
• Document perioperative care and participate in handoffs.
