Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing seeks an Operating Room RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Reno, NV. You will join our team to deliver high-quality perioperative care, prepare the OR, manage surgical equipment, and collaborate with the surgical team to protect patient safety.

The role requires one year of OR RN experience, an active RN license, and BLS certification; additional ACLS/PALS or CNOR may be preferred. Travel opportunity includes full benefits and support.

Qualifications

• One year of recent OR RN experience.
• Current RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Prepares the operating room with instruments, equipment and sterile supplies for procedures.
• Assists in positioning patients for surgery and ensures safety and comfort.
• Maintains a sterile field and adheres to infection control protocols.
• Monitors patient status during surgery and documents changes.
• Documents all perioperative patient care and participates in handoffs.
