Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking an OR travel nurse in Menomonee Falls, WI for a 13-week assignment. Position requires 1–2 years of acute care experience as circulating or scrub nurse, and potentially RN first assistant, with ACLS/BLS certifications.

Travel RN duties include assisting physicians, performing perioperative tasks, and educating patients pre- and post-operation. Compensation reflects 12-hour shifts and weekly hours with a tax-free stipend.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years recent acute care experience as circulating or scrub nurse, and/or RN first assistant.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care.
• Prepare, administer and record prescribed medications.
• Serve as liaison between patients' families and operating team.
• Ensure the correct procedure is performed on the correct patient.
• Initiate patient education on medications and home care.
