Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin.

As an OR Travel Nurse, you will assist physicians and medical staff in caring for surgical patients, provide pre- and post-surgery care and education, and support both circulating and scrub roles as required. Must have ACLS, BLS, and additional certifications as needed; 1–2 years acute care experience preferred.

Qualifications

• ACLS and BLS required; additional certifications may be required before starting.
• Two years of recent acute care experience preferred as circulating nurse, scrub nurse, or RN first assistant.
• Travel RN in OR disciplines with flexibility in duties.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care in perioperative setting.
• Assist surgeons and care team; manage medications and patient education pre-/post-surgery.
• Communicate with patients' families and coordinate care across OR team.
• Prepare instruments, maintain sterile technique, and monitor patient status during procedures.
