Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel OR RN for Saint Louis, Missouri. The assignment is 13 weeks long with a 40-hour work week, on day shifts, requiring travel RN qualifications for operating room duties.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of acute care experience as circulating or scrub RN and may include RN first assistant duties. ACLS/BLS are required, with additional certifications potentially needed before starting.

Qualifications

• ACLS and BLS certifications are required.
• 3 years of recent acute care experience preferred for circulating/scrub RN roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care.
• Prepare, administer and record prescribed medications.
• Serve as liaison between patient, family and operating team.
• Assist physicians and staff during surgical procedures.
• Monitor patient during surgery and ensure correct procedures are followed.
