Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel RN in the Operating Room for a 13-week assignment in Indianapolis, IN. You will work 12-hour days, 36 hours per week, and join a dedicated clinical team to deliver perioperative care and patient safety.

The role requires one year of OR RN experience, a valid RN license, and current BLS. Preferred certifications include ACLS/PALS or CNOR to enhance eligibility for assignments.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as an Operating Room RN.
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Prepares the operating room with instruments and supplies for surgical procedures.
• Assists in positioning patients and maintaining a sterile field during operations.
• Monitors patient condition and communicates changes to the surgical team.
• Handles instruments, sterilization, and disposal per facility protocols.
• Documents care accurately and participates in handoffs before/after surgery.
• Maintains infection control standards and adheres to PPE procedures.
