Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Operating Room RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Tucker, GA. You’ll enjoy competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, and the support of a dedicated clinical team as part of our travel nursing program.

The OR RN will provide perioperative patient care, prepare the OR, manage surgical equipment, and collaborate with the surgical team to ensure safety and high-quality care. Requirements include RN license, BLS, and OR experience.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as an Operating Room RN.
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• ACLS, PALS, ENPC certifications preferred.
• CNOR certification may be preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares the operating room and ensures all instruments, equipment, and supplies are ready for each procedure.
• Assists in positioning patients and maintaining patient safety and comfort.
• Maintains a sterile field and follows infection control protocols throughout procedures.
• Monitors patient condition during surgery and communicates changes to the surgeon.
• Documents all aspects of perioperative patient care accurately in the chart.
• Participates in handoff communication and supports turnover between cases.
