Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Operating Room RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Tucker, GA. The OR RN will provide perioperative care, prepare the operating room, and support the surgical team on 12-hour day shifts.

Requirements include one year of OR experience, active GA RN license, BLS, and CNOR/ACLS/PALS preferred. Travel benefits, competitive pay, and traveler support are offered.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as an Operating Room RN.
• Valid RN license in accordance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• ACLS (AHA/ARC), PALS (AHA/ARC) or ENPC certifications preferred.
• OR Nursing Certification (CNOR) could be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Prepares the operating room with instruments and supplies for each case.
• Assists in patient positioning and preparation for surgery.
• Maintains a sterile field and adheres to infection control procedures.
• Supports the surgical team by providing instruments and supplies as needed.
• Monitors patient condition during surgery and documents changes.
