Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN for the Operating Room in Atlanta, GA. This 13-week travel assignment offers 40 hours per week, days shifts, and competitive compensation. The role requires one year of OR experience, valid RN license, and current BLS; ACLS/PALS/ENPC and CNOR are preferred. Various certifications and licenses may be required by the facility.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as an Operating Room RN.
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• ACLS (AHA/ARC), PALS (AHA/ARC) or ENPC certifications (preferred).
• CNOR OR Nursing Certification (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Prepares the operating room with instruments and sterile supplies.
• Assists in positioning and prepping patients for surgery.
• Maintains a sterile field and follows infection control protocols.
• Anticipates needs of the surgical team and provides instruments promptly.
• Monitors patient condition during surgery and documents changes.
• Handles instruments and supplies, ensuring proper use and disposal.
• Documents patient care in perioperative records.
