Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a travel nursing job in Lawrenceville, Georgia. The position requires 36 hours per week across 12-hour day shifts, with a 13-week assignment starting ASAP.

As an OR Travel Nurse, you will support physicians and staff in caring for surgical patients, provide pre- and post-surgery care, and perform circulating, scrub, or RN First Assistant duties as needed. This role demands flexibility and physical stamina.

Qualifications

• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• 1–2 years recent acute care experience as OR circulating/scrub nurse.
• RN First Assistant experience may be required.

Responsibilities

• Assist surgeons and staff in caring for surgical patients.
• Provide pre- and post-surgery education to patients.
• Circulating nurse duties outside the sterile field.
• Scrub nurse duties inside the sterile field.
• Move or lift patients; handle equipment and instruments.
