Qualifications

• One year of recent OR RN experience.
• Current RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• BLS certification (AHA/ARC) required.

Responsibilities

• Prepares the operating room with instruments and supplies before procedures.
• Assists in positioning patients and ensuring safety and comfort.
• Maintains sterile technique and infection control throughout procedures.
• Anticipates team needs and provides instruments and support promptly.
• Monitors patient condition and documents changes during surgery.
• Handles instrumentation, sterilization, and disposal per protocol.
• Manages specimen collection and transport as required.
• Documents patient care in the perioperative setting accurately.
• Participates in handoffs and ensures continuity of care.
