Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a 13-week assignment in Dallas, TX. Start date is 11/02/2026, with a 36-hour week and 12-hour night shifts. Travel status and comprehensive benefits are provided by Fusion Medical Staffing.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of OR RN experience, an active RN license, and BLS certification. Preferred credentials include ACLS/PALS/ENPC and CNOR.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as an Operating Room RN.
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Prepare the operating room and ensure instruments and supplies are ready for each procedure.
• Assist in positioning patients for surgery and ensure comfort and safety.
• Maintain a sterile field and adhere to infection control protocols.
• Anticipate the surgical team's needs and provide instruments and supplies promptly.
• Monitor the patient's condition during surgery and document significant changes.
• Document all aspects of perioperative patient care accurately.
