Job summary

TotalMed RN in Hyannis, MA is seeking an OR Travel Nurse (RN) for an immediate assignment in the Operating Room. This 13-week travel role is 40 hours per week, with 8-hour daytime shifts.

The RN should have 1–2 years of acute care experience as circulating or scrub nurse, and may serve as RN first assistant. Responsibilities include assisting surgeons, preparing instruments, and delivering pre- and post-operative care.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in MA
• 1–2 years of acute care OR experience
• Experience as circulating/scrub nurse preferred
• Potential RN first assistant considered

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians and medical staff in caring for surgical patients
• Provide pre- and post-surgery care and education
• Act as liaison between patient family and operating team
• Ensure correct procedures are performed on the correct patient
• Prepare instruments and assist in sterile field as applicable
