Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking an OR travel nurse for a 13-week assignment in Winchester, MA. The role requires 1-2 years of acute care experience as circulating or scrub RN, and may include RN First Assistant duties.

You will support physicians and staff across perioperative care, with 12-hour shifts and travel benefits. The position offers a 36-hour workweek, a travel pay package, and access to standard travel nursing benefits.

Qualifications

• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• 1-2 years of acute care experience as OR circulating/scrub RN or RN First Assistant preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide OR bedside care and assist in operative procedures.
• Administer and document medications per perioperative plan.
• Coordinate communication between patient, family, and operating team.
• Ensure correct patient, procedure, and site are followed.
• Support pre- and post-operative patient education.
