TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a travel nursing job in Mattoon, Illinois. The role requires 1-2 years of recent acute care experience as a circulating nurse, scrub nurse, and possibly RN first assistant.

You will assist physicians and staff in caring for surgical patients, provide pre- and post-surgery care, and educate patients. Duties include instrument handling, patient monitoring, and coordinating care with the OR team.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years acute care experience as circulating or scrub nurse, potentially RN first assistant.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians and medical staff in caring for surgical patients and provide pre- and post-surgery care and education.
• Support OR team by preparing instruments and equipment and ensuring patient safety during procedures.
