American Traveler is seeking a Surgery Radiologic Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment with 1+ years of OR experience and ARRT certification.

This role requires BLS certification, a potential TMB license, and C-arm surgery expertise. Typical day shift runs 8:30 AM–6:00 PM with call 1–3 days weekly and every 3rd weekend; travel and housing allowances apply.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification is required.
• BLS certification is required (AHA approved).
• TMB license required if applicable.
• Minimum 1+ year of recent OR experience.
• Surgery experience using C-arm is required.

Responsibilities

• Surgery department within a 15-bed/room facility.
• Day shift from 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM.
• Call required 1–3 days weekly, every 3rd weekend.
• Floating required.
• Uses C-arm for surgery procedures.
• EMR system is HMS GUI (Medhost).
• 13-week assignment length.
• Scrubs provided.
• RTO max of 3 days, with blackout during Christmas.
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility.
• Candidates who worked as perm staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years will not be considered.
• No gaps in work history totaling 90+ days within the past 12 months.

Requirements

• Current ARRT certification
• Current BLS certification (AHA approved)
• TMB license required if applicable
• Minimum 1 year of recent OR/surgery experience using c-arm
• No certifications expiring within first 30 days of start

Responsibilities

• 13-week assignment in the Radiology-Diagnostic unit supporting surgery cases
• Day shift from 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM
• 15 OR beds/rooms
• Call required 1-3 days weekly and every 3rd weekend
• Floating required
• Scrubs provided
• Uses HMS GUI (Medhost) EMR
• Perform radiologic procedures in the surgical setting using c-arm equipment
• Max RTO of 3 days, with requests needing to be less than 1 week
• RTO blackout during Christmas
• No gaps in work history exceeding 90 days within the past 12 months
• Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates not accepted
• Previous CHS perm staff are not eligible if employed within the past 2 years
