American Traveler is seeking a Night Shift Radiologic Technologist to perform OR radiography with strong C-arm and O-arm proficiency in a Level I Trauma teaching hospital setting. The role supports surgical teams during complex procedures and requires precise imaging and patient care.

The ideal candidate will hold ARRT (R) and BLS certification, ACEN or CCNE accredited education, and at least two years of related experience.

Qualifications

• ARRT (R) and BLS certifications are required.
• ODH license required if applicable.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role.
• Education from ACEN or CCNE accredited program.
• Experience with bedside/portable procedures and fluoroscopy studies.

Responsibilities

• Operate in OR within a Level I Trauma teaching hospital.
• Work in outpatient and inpatient settings.
• Night shift, 5x8 hours, 10:00 PM–6:30 AM.
• No weekends or holidays required; call responsibilities.
• Provide C-arm and O-arm coverage in OR.
• Perform X-ray procedures for surgical interventions.
• Collaborate with surgical and medical teams for patient care.
• Maintain equipment and safety protocols.
• Participate in ongoing education and training.

American Traveler is hiring a night shift Radiologic Technologist for OR procedures requiring strong C-arm and O-arm proficiency in a Level I Trauma teaching hospital setting.

Requirements

• ARRT (R) and BLS certification required
• ODH license required if applicable
• Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role, preferably in a Level I Trauma or teaching hospital
• Proficiency operating C-arm and O-arm systems required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
• Experience with bedside/portable procedures, fluoroscopy studies, barium swallow/esophagus, contrast enema, myelography, and upper GI series

Responsibilities

• Operating Room setting within a Level I Trauma teaching hospital
• Outpatient and inpatient work settings
• Night shift, 5x8 hours, Monday-Friday, 10:00 PM-6:30 AM
• No weekends or holidays required
• Call responsibilities associated with this position
• Provide C-arm and O-arm coverage in the Operating Room environment
• Perform X-ray procedures for surgical interventions
• Collaborate closely with surgical and medical teams to ensure optimal patient care
• Maintain equipment functionality and adhere to safety protocols
• Participate in continuous education and training programs
• First-time travelers not accepted for this role
• Former employees eligible for travel assignment after 6+ months away from facility
• Current employees are ineligible to be hired as a traveler at this health system
• Local candidates accepted at the same rate
• RTO must be submitted and built into contract, limited to 7 days or less
• Candidates must complete Ohio fingerprinting process promptly after signing contract due to strict compliance timelines
