Concentric Healthcare Staffing in Baltimore, MD seeks a travel RN - Operating Room to join a high-volume OR. Work 3x12-hour days, 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, with weekend focus and an on-call component in a 13-week assignment.

Requires current Maryland RN license or Compact, 2 years OR experience, BLS, 16-hour trauma course, and proficiency in Cerner/Surginet. Local candidates preferred; travel stipends may apply.

Qualificações

• Must have current Maryland RN license or Compact RN license.
• Minimum 2 years OR experience in operating room.
• Level II trauma experience required.
• BLS certification required.
• 16-hour Maryland trauma course required.
• 8 hours annual trauma CEUs required.
• Cerner and Surginet proficiency.
• Local candidates welcome.

Responsabilidades

• Function as a member of the patient care team in a general operating room environment, providing safe, age-appropriate care to pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients.
• Support an OR averaging approximately 40 cases per day across a broad range of surgical specialties including Trauma, ENT, Colorectal, Plastics, Neurosurgery, Surgical Oncology, Oral/Dental, Laparoscopic, Urology, Ophthalmology, GYN, General Surgery, Orthopedics, Robotics, Vascular, and Thoracic procedures.
• Respond to emergency OR situations including fire safety, malignant hyperthermia, and latex allergy precautions.
• Operate and maintain electrosurgical units, fiber-optic equipment, and Steris equipment.
• Serve as a resource for patients and families, supporting evidence-based care, surgical education, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
• Float within scope as needed to meet facility staffing requirements.
