Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking an Operating Room travel nurse (RN) to circulate and support surgical teams in Springfield, Vermont. This 13-week assignment requires 32 hours per week with 9-hour day shifts, offering an opportunity to work across OR roles including circulating, scrub, and possibly RN first assistant duties.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of recent acute care experience as an OR circulator or scrub nurse, with BLS certification and readiness to handle pre/post-surgical care, patient

Qualifications

• BLS certification required.
• 2 years of acute care experience as circulating nurse or scrub RN.
• Travel assignment in Springfield, VT.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians and medical staff in caring for surgical patients.
• Provide pre- and post-surgery care and patient education.
• Support circulating and scrub roles; monitor patient during surgery.
• Prepare instruments and manage supplies pre/post-procedure.
