Job summary

The American Junior Golf Association (AJGA) seeks Operations Traveling - Interns for Spring or Summer 2027. Interns will travel nationwide to support junior golf tournaments, handle set-up, scoring, officiating, volunteer coordination, and budget maintenance.

The program runs Spring and Summer seasons with lodging and travel logistics arranged by AJGA. Ideal candidates are self-starters with teamwork, strong communication, and basic golf knowledge; a bachelor’s degree in progress or completed is

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in progress or completed.
• Able to work long hours and weekends.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license.
• Experience in events or operations is a bonus.
• Strong communication and public speaking skills.

Responsibilities

• General tournament set-up, execution and break-down.
• Start and score players.
• On-course rules officiating and enforcing Pace of Play.
• Volunteer support and coordination.
• Execution of social activities for players and/or parents.
• Monitor equipment inventory, maintenance, and replenishment.
• Public speaking and customer service.
• Operation and maintenance of company vehicles.
• Collaborate with golf course staff, sponsors, and stakeholders.
• Maintain and work within a tournament budget.
