Job summary

The Northern Texas PGA is offering a 9-week internship in golf tournament operations for Fall 2026. Interns will assist with day-to-day operations of the Junior Tour and Foundation's junior programs, with hands-on training in event management, Rules of Golf, and professional development.

Candidates travel to East Texas for Junior Tour tournaments, with travel reimbursement included. Interns will gain experience across pre-, on-site, and post-event activities and support various on-site duties.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or holding a college degree, preferably in later years.
• Must have automobile access and be able to travel within the Dallas/Fort Worth area.
• Must have current insurance (through school or family).
• Ability to work and communicate effectively in a team-based environment.
• Basic computer literacy (MS Office, smartphone apps).

Responsibilities

• Execute pre-tournament tasks: information collection, printing documents, setup.
• On-site duties: player registration, starting, scoring, awards presentations.
• Post-tournament: reports, results distribution, teardown.
• Communicate with host staff, players, parents, and spectators.
• Manage equipment transport, inventory, and maintenance.
• Enforce Junior Tour Rules & Pace of Play.
• Support Section and Foundation operations on-site.
