Job summary

Old Edwards Reserve is seeking a Golf Intern to assist the golf professional staff with daily operations and tournament support. The intern will help manage outside operations, carts, and pace of play while engaging with members and guests.

The role includes running junior programs, supporting men’s and ladies groups, and assisting with merchandise and range maintenance. This position is an hourly employee working under golf staff guidance.

Qualifications

Enrolled in PGA curriculum or attending a PGA accredited program.
Strong interpersonal skills and integrity are required.
Ability to work with members and guests and support golf operations.

Responsibilities

Assist in the leadership of the outside operations staff on a daily basis and ensure daily tasks are completed.
Work with cart shuttles to the turn house and monitor play pace.
Help plan, organize, and run tournaments including scorecards and score boards.
Assist in merchandise operations by receiving, presenting, and selling inventory.
Run junior golf programs and support men's and ladies groups.
Maintain golf cart fleet and range facilities and assist with bag storage systems.
Answer phone calls and check in members and guests to ensure a welcoming experience.
