Job Summary
Certified Operating Room Technician (ORT CERT) in Chatt, Tennessee. This position involves supporting surgical procedures within a high-volume surgery unit, including orthopedic, spine, neurosurgical, and robotic operations. The selected candidate will be responsible for assisting in surgery, adhering to unit policies, and maintaining a sterile environment in a fast-paced setting.

Job Details

• Location: Chatt, Tennessee
• Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week
• Start Date: 09/21/2026
• End Date: 12/21/2026
• Required Qualifications: Certified Operating Room Technician (CST) certification, BLS certification, Tennessee nursing license, at least 1 year of experience in operating room settings, experience circulating in orthopedic and spine surgical procedures. Neurosurgical and general/robotic surgical experience preferred but not required. Must demonstrate critical thinking and excellent customer service skills. Endovascular experience is essential.
• Additional Information: The role involves working with specialized equipment such as electrosurgical units, Neptune suction, positioning devices, and the Synaptive Medical Modus V robotic digital microscope used for neurosurgical procedures (only system in Tennessee). Candidates should be familiar with Meditech documentation system and flexible scheduling within the specified hours. The department values advanced technical skills and experience with total joint, spine fusions, neurosurgical, robotic, general surgical, urology, and cardiovascular procedures including open heart surgeries.
