Job Summary:
A Certified Operating Room Technician (OR Tech) position is available in a healthcare organization within a facility offering a variety of inpatient and outpatient surgical procedures. The role involves supporting surgical teams in a high-tech operating room environment, with a focus on providing quality patient care across multiple specialties. The assignment is scheduled to start on 09/28/2026 and conclude on 12/26/2026, with day shift hours.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Day shifts with 10 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week.


• Required Qualifications: Certification as a Certified Operating Room Technician (OR Tech); at least 1 year of experience in a related surgical environment; BLS (Basic Life Support) certification; must hold a National Certification; education in surgical technologies or a related field; location requirements include the ability to work in a hospital or healthcare setting.


• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a hospital operating room environment; familiarity with both inpatient and outpatient procedures; ability to assist across multiple surgical specialties including ENT, general surgery, orthopedics, plastic surgery, urology, gynecology, ophthalmology, oral surgery, neuro, robotics, vascular, cardiac, and thoracic surgery.


• Additional Information: This role involves supporting surgical procedures in a facility equipped with 26 spacious, high-tech operating suites. Responsibilities include assisting with various surgeries and ensuring adherence to SOPs during procedures. Shift flexibility includes weekday nights and weekends, with a mandatory on-call component separate from scheduled shifts. Candidates should be prepared for a 13-week assignment with potential for varied shift obligations.
