Job summary

Premiere Healthcare Staffing is seeking an Oncology Registered Nurse for an infusion-focused position in Lewiston, Maine. You will provide direct care to oncology patients, administer chemotherapy and IV therapies, and monitor treatment responses within a multidisciplinary team.

The assignment is 12 weeks, with day shifts available. Active RN license in the state, current BLS and ACLS are required, and minimum one year of oncology experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN license.
• Current BLS (AHA) upon hire and maintain.
• Current ACLS (AHA) upon hire and maintain.
• Minimum one year of RN Oncology experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to oncology patients in an infusion setting.
• Administer chemotherapy, biotherapy, immunotherapy, and IV infusions per protocol.
• Perform patient assessments and monitor treatment response and side effects.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and symptom management.
• Ensure adherence to oncology safety standards and hazardous drug handling protocols.
• Communicate clinical changes, labs, and diagnostic results to physicians.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure HIPAA compliance.
• Collaborate with oncology care team to coordinate treatment and supportive care.

Pay Transparency

Premiere Healthcare Staffing offers competitive compensation and a reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $56.00 to $64.00. This compensation estimate is specific to Maine and has not been adjusted for any other geographic location. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
