Job summary

Premiere Healthcare Staffing is seeking an Oncology Registered Nurse to join a Lewiston, Maine infusion unit for day shifts. The role entails direct patient care, chemotherapy and IV infusions, and coordination with the oncology team.

Qualifications include an active RN license, BLS and ACLS on hire, and at least one year of Oncology experience. This assignment offers a 12-week, 12-week length with competitive weekly compensation per shift.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in state of employment.
• BLS certification required upon hire and maintained.
• ACLS certification required upon hire and maintained.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to oncology patients in an infusion setting.
• Administer chemotherapy, biotherapy, immunotherapy, and IV infusions per protocol.
• Perform patient assessments and monitor treatment response and side effects.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and symptom management.
• Ensure adherence to oncology safety standards and hazardous drug handling protocols.
• Communicate clinical changes, labs, and diagnostic results to physicians.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure HIPAA compliance.
• Collaborate with oncology care team to coordinate treatment and supportive care.

Pay Transparency

Premiere Healthcare Staffing offers competitive compensation and a reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $56.00 to $64.00. This compensation estimate is specific to Maine and has not been adjusted for any other geographic location. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
