Job summary

Premiere Healthcare Staffing is seeking an Oncology Registered Nurse to provide direct care to oncology patients in an infusion setting. You will administer chemotherapy, biologicals, and IV infusions, perform assessments, and collaborate with the oncology care team in Lewiston, Maine.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN license.
• BLS (AHA) certification required on hire.
• ACLS (AHA) certification required on hire.
• Minimum one year of RN Oncology experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to oncology patients in an infusion setting.
• Administer chemotherapy, biotherapy, immunotherapy, and IV infusions.
• Perform patient assessments and monitor treatment response.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and symptom management.
• Ensure adherence to oncology safety standards and hazardous drug handling.
• Communicate clinical changes, labs, and results to physicians.
• Maintain HIPAA-compliant documentation.
• Collaborate with the oncology care team for treatment and supportive care.

• Administer chemotherapy, biotherapy, immunotherapy, and IV infusions per protocol
• Perform patient assessments and monitor treatment response and side effects
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and symptom management
• Ensure adherence to oncology safety standards and hazardous drug handling protocols
• Communicate clinical changes, labs, and diagnostic results to physicians
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure HIPAA compliance
• Collaborate with oncology care team to coordinate treatment and supportive care

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN

• Minimum one year of RN Oncology experience required.

Pay Transparency

Premiere Healthcare Staffing offers competitive compensation and a reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $56.00 to $64.00. This compensation estimate is specific to Maine and has not been adjusted for any other geographic location. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
