Job summary

Premiere Healthcare Staffing seeks an Oncology Registered Nurse to join our partner facility in Lewiston, Maine. The role focuses on infusion care, chemotherapy administration, and patient education within the Oncology department.

Shifts are days, the assignment length is 12 weeks, with pay per shift up to $672–$768 gross ($56–$64 per hour). A state RN license, BLS and ACLS are required at hire, with a minimum of one year Oncology RN experience.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN license.
• BLS (AHA) certification upon hire and maintain.
• ACLS (AHA) certification upon hire and maintain.
• Minimum one year of RN Oncology experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to oncology patients in an infusion setting.
• Administer chemotherapy, biotherapy, immunotherapy, and IV infusions per protocol.
• Perform patient assessments and monitor treatment response and side effects.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and symptom management.
• Ensure adherence to oncology safety standards and hazardous drug handling protocols.
• Communicate clinical changes, labs, and diagnostic results to physicians.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure HIPAA compliance.
• Collaborate with oncology care team to coordinate treatment and supportive care.

Pay Transparency

Premiere Healthcare Staffing offers competitive compensation and a reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $56.00 to $64.00. This compensation estimate is specific to Maine and has not been adjusted for any other geographic location. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
