Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for a 13-week assignment in Montesano, Washington. You will work 40 hours per week, with dayshift, under supervision of an OT to implement treatment plans and help patients regain daily living skills.

Qualifications

• Requires 1 year of OTA experience.
• Current BLS and NBCOT COTA certifications.
• State licensure required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver therapeutic activities and interventions as directed by the supervising OT.
• Monitor patient progress and report observations to the OT to support treatment plan adjustments.
• Document patient performance and progress accurately and in a timely manner per facility and state guidelines.
• Assist patients with exercises, mobility training, and use of adaptive equipment.
• Educate patients and families on techniques to improve independence in daily activities.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of treatment areas and equipment.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support coordinated care.
• Comply with state licensing rules and adhere to facility and professional standards.
