Job summary

TotalMed Allied seeks a travel Occupational Therapy Assistant in Cut Bank, MT for a 13-week assignment. You will work 36 hours per week (12-hour days) under an OT, implementing plans to improve daily living skills across all ages.

Requirements include 1 year of OTA experience, NBCOT (COTA), BLS, and state licensure. Lifting patients safely and strong communication are essential in this role as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• 1 year of OT A experience required.
• Current NBCOT (COTA) certification and BLS required.
• State licensure required for the assignment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver therapeutic activities and interventions as directed by the supervising OT.
• Monitor patient progress and report observations to the OT.
• Document patient performance and progress per guidelines.
• Assist patients with exercises, mobility training, and use of adaptive equipment.
• Educate patients and families on daily living techniques.
• Maintain treatment areas and equipment cleanliness and organization.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team for coordinated care.
• Comply with licensing rules and facility standards.
