Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program.
• Initial certification obtained from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.
• Licensure or eligibility to practice in the state of use.
• Must be available to travel nationwide and temporarily reside away from home.

Responsibilities

• Travel nationwide for 13-week assignments.
• Provide OT programs and treatments under supervision of an Occupational Therapist.
• Attend patient care staffing conferences as a representative of occupational therapy.
• Deliver rehab services in accordance with the plan of care and schedules.
• Collaborate with rehab team to develop patient-centered programs.
• Instruct patients and caregivers in OT techniques under supervision.
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation for all patients.
• Inspect and report need for equipment repair.
• Put patient service first with compassionate care.

Education

Accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program

NBCOT Certification

Licensed or eligible for state licensure
