Responsibilities

• Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
• Provide evaluation, treatment, and discharge planning for adult outpatient hand and upper extremity patients
• Perform modalities and manual therapy techniques including edema massage, electrical stimulation, myofascial release, splinting, and ultrasound
• Fabricate and apply prosthetics/orthotics including static and dynamic splints
• Provide patient and family education on home exercise programs and safety/injury prevention
• May float within a 75+ mile radius to other facilities within the health system

• Teaching hospital experience preferred
• Trauma Level I experience preferred
• Adult outpatient and hand clinic experience preferred
• CHT (Certified Hand Therapist) preferred
• AOTA Hand/UE certification preferred
• PAM (modalities) certification preferred in CA
• MS/MA degree preferred
• 2 professional references from most recent employer required for consideration

Responsibilities

• Adult outpatient hand clinic setting
• Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
• Possibility to float to other facilities within the health system
• Epic EMR required
• Provide evaluation, treatment, and discharge planning for adult outpatient hand and upper extremity patients
• Perform modalities and manual therapy techniques including edema massage, electrical stimulation, myofascial release, splinting, and ultrasound
• Fabricate and apply prosthetics/orthotics including static and dynamic splints
• Provide patient and family education on home exercise programs and safety/injury prevention
• Accepts local candidates at the same pay rate as travel positions
• May float within a 75+ mile radius to other facilities within the health system
• RTO must be disclosed at time of consideration and approved by the manager prior to start; no RTO permitted within the first two weeks of assignment
• Past employment with any University of California medical facility must be disclosed for rehire eligibility review
