Job summary

California Rehabilitation & Sports Therapy is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist to join our outpatient ortho clinics across the Los Angeles area, including Downey. You will evaluate, plan, and implement OT programs to help patients regain daily living skills and improve physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing.

The role emphasizes collaboration with interdisciplinary teams, evidence-based treatment, home programs, and documentation, with flexible per diem or part-time scheduling to fit

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
• Previous experience in a clinical or rehab setting preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills, empathy, critical thinking, and teamwork ability.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine patients' functional abilities, limitations, and goals.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for holistic care.
• Administer occupational therapy treatments including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, ADL training, and adaptive equipment as needed.
• Educate patients and families on therapeutic techniques, home exercises, and adaptive strategies to maximize independence.
• Regularly reassess patients' progress and modify treatment plans as needed.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of evaluations, progress reports, and treatment plans.
• Communicate effectively with healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Adhere to ethical, legal, and professional standards, maintaining confidentiality and compliance with regulations.
• Meet needs of patient executing Plan of Care, including follow-up for noncompliance.
• Be a team player utilizing nonclinical staff to support caseload needs.
• Delegate to COTA as appropriate.
• Drive a collaborative culture based on our service vision.
• Adapt to changes in patient schedules and daily workflow.
• Stay updated on advancements in occupational therapy techniques and best practices.

Pay Range: $40.00 - 55.00 Hourly Rates featuring incentives that add to your total package and rates dependent on experience, location, and job-related factors.
