Travel Occupational Therapist (OT) responsible for evaluating and developing care plans for patients with varied disabilities in an acute care setting.
Review patient histories, evaluate conditions, create treatment plans with specific goals, assist patients with daily tasks, assess home and workplace environments, educate families and employers, recommend and instruct on equipment use, document patient progress, and ensure compliance with billing and reporting standards.
Must have at least 6 months of experience (new grads encouraged), BLS certification, NBCOT-OTR certification, and state-specific licensing. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and have a solid knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
May require additional certifications prior to assignment start.
