American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an Occupational Therapist for an inpatient rehabilitation unit in Florida. The ideal candidate has at least 6 months of acute care, SNF, or inpatient rehab experience and holds an active Florida OT license.

The position requires a 5-day, 8-hour shift schedule on a brand-new 42-bed unit, with 1:1 therapy sessions and potential weekend coverage. Travel, housing allowance, and per diem are offered to qualified travelers.

Qualifications

• Active Florida OT license required.
• Minimum 6 months of experience in acute care, SNF, or inpatient rehab setting.
• Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Inpatient rehabilitation unit in a 42-bed facility.
• Documentation via Meditech.
• Schedule of 5 days per week, 8-hour shifts.
• Primarily floats within the IP Rehab unit.
• Provides 1:1 therapy sessions.
• Willingness to work weekends as part of the 5-day schedule is a plus.
• Work on a brand-new 42-bed inpatient rehab unit with new equipment.
• Grey scrubs required as part of dress code.
• Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; no local candidates accepted.
• No gaps in work history exceeding 90 days within the past 12 months.
