American Traveler, LLC. is hiring an Occupational Therapist - Pediatrics for a hospital-based outpatient clinic serving pediatric and adult patients.

Position includes 4x10-hour day shifts (7:30 AM–6:00 PM) and a 13-week assignment. Active OT license required, with 1+ year experience. Travel and licensure reimbursements are provided, and housing allowance may apply.

Responsibilities

Pediatric hospital outpatient setting with some adult inpatient coverage
Treat both adult and pediatric patients
Day shift 4x10-hour shifts 7:30 AM–6:00 PM
Epic charting experience preferred
Will work holidays as needed
Maximum 7 days RTO, no RTO in first 2 weeks
Disclose and approve all time-off requests at consideration
Local candidates within 25 miles not accepted
Former permanent employees must be separated 9 months before returning as traveler
Educate patients/families on safety and transfer techniques
Document assessments, evaluations, and discharge planning

American Traveler is hiring an Occupational Therapist - Pediatrics with 1+ year experience for a hospital-based outpatient clinic serving both pediatric and adult patients.

Requirements

Active Occupational Therapy license required if applicable
Minimum 1 year of experience required
First-time travelers accepted
Pediatric skills including Activities of Daily Living, Autism, Cerebral Palsy, Handwriting, Learning Disability, and Neurodevelopmental Treatment
Experience with feeding techniques, early intervention, sensory integrative testing/treatment, and visual perceptual skills testing/treatment preferred
Adult treatment experience including CVA Rehabilitation, Hand Injury, Spinal Cord Injury, and Traumatic Brain Injury preferred
Skilled in evaluation, assessment, plan of care development, and discharge planning
Experience with modalities such as Electrical Stimulation, Ultrasound, TENS, and Myofascial Release preferred

Responsibilities

Primarily pediatric hospital outpatient setting with some adult inpatient coverage as needed
Outpatient clinic is connected to the hospital via a tunnel and located across the street
Treat both adult and pediatric patients with a wide variety of diagnoses
Day shift schedule with 4x10-hour shifts from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM
13-week assignment length
Epic charting system experience preferred
Required to work holidays as needed by the facility
Maximum of 7 days RTO permitted, with no RTO allowed during the first 2 weeks of the assignment
All time off requests must be disclosed and approved at the time of consideration
Local candidates within 25 miles of the facility are not accepted
