Job summary

Health Marketing is seeking a Travel Occupational Therapist Assistant (OTA) to support patients' development, recovery, and functional skills under the supervision of an OT in a clinical Michigan setting.

You will deliver therapeutic activities, monitor progress, assist with exercises and mobility, educate patients and families, maintain treatment areas, and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure coordinated care.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of OTA experience in a clinical setting.
• Current BLS certification and COTA national certification.
• Active state licensure to practice occupational therapy.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Implement treatment plans and deliver therapeutic activities.
• Monitor and document patient progress and outcomes.
• Assist patients with exercises and mobility tasks.

Key Responsibilities: Implement treatment plans, deliver therapeutic activities, monitor and document patient progress, assist with exercises and mobility, educate patients and families, maintain treatment areas, and collaborate with healthcare team to ensure coordinated care.
Qualifications & Skills: Minimum 1 year of OTA experience, current BLS and COTA National certification, state-specific licensure, strong communication skills, knowledge of anatomy and occupational therapy principles, ability to lift and assist patients safely, and adherence to professional standards and regulations.
Additional Requirements: Certifications may be needed before assignment start. OTAs should be prepared to work 8-hour days in a day shift, with a focus on patient safety and quality care.
