Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Travel Occupational Therapist for assignments in Laurel, MD. The OT will assess patients, develop and implement treatment plans, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve rehabilitation goals.

Requirements include a Master's in OT, NBCOT, active or in-process licensure, CPR certification, and at least one year of experience. Travel housing and comprehensive benefits are provided.

Duties & Responsibilities

The Occupational Therapist / OT is responsible for the assessment of referred patients that require rehabilitation services which includes: providing direct patient care to assess their medical condition, functional capabilities, limitations and restrictions and potential for rehabilitation. Also, the Occupational Therapist / OT will establish and administer a treatment program with specific goals determined according to the patient's capacity and toleranceDevelops a plan of care for each occupational therapy patient.Provides skilled occupational therapy services / interventions in accordance with physician orders.Assesses patient needs, plans for, evaluates and modifies care to meet goals of occupational therapy interventions.Collaborates with all disciplines to plan and evaluate team goals for each patient.
