MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Occupational Therapist for a travel assignment in California. Start Date: 10/05/2026; Duration: 13 weeks; 40 hours per week; Shift: 8 hours, days.

Employment Type: Travel. Requirements include a Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, NBCOT certification, current state OT license (or licensure in process), and CPR certification, with a minimum of one year of professional experience.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy and NBCOT certification.
• Minimum one year of professional working experience.

Responsibilities

• Assess referred patients requiring rehabilitation and provide direct patient care.
• Establish and administer a treatment program with goals aligned to patient capacity.
• Develop a plan of care for each occupational therapy patient.
• Provide skilled OT services / interventions per physician orders.
• Assess patient needs, plan, evaluate and modify care for OT goals.
• Collaborate with all disciplines to plan and evaluate team goals.

Duties Responsibilities

• The Occupational Therapist / OT is responsible for the assessment of referred patients that require rehabilitation services which includes: providing direct patient care to assess their medical condition, functional capabilities, limitations and restrictions and potential for rehabilitation.
• Also, the Occupational Therapist / OT will establish and administer a treatment program with specific goals determined according to the patient's capacity and tolerance.
• Develops a plan of care for each occupational therapy patient.
• Provides skilled occupational therapy services / interventions in accordance with physician orders.
• Assesses patient needs, plans for, evaluates and modifies care to meet goals of occupational therapy interventions.
• Collaborates with all disciplines to plan and evaluate team goals for each patient.
