Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking an Occupational Therapist for a travel assignment. The role involves evaluating referred patients, creating and implementing OT treatment plans, and coordinating with the care team across the facility.

Start date is 10/05/2026 with a 13-week engagement and 40 hours per week, days shift. Requirements include a Master's in Occupational Therapy, NBCOT, active or in-process state OT licensure, and CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Must have graduated from an accredited school.
• Must hold a Master's degree in Occupational Therapy and have passed the NBCOT exam.
• Minimum one year of professional working experience.
• Current state license as an OT or in licensure process.
• Current CPR certification.
• Other requirements to be determined by the client facility.

Responsibilities

• Assess referred patients requiring rehabilitation and provide direct patient care.
• Establish and administer a treatment program with goals based on patient capacity.
• Develops a plan of care for OT patients.
• Provide skilled OT services per physician orders.
• Assess needs, plan, evaluate and modify care for OT goals.
• Collaborate with all disciplines to plan and evaluate team goals.

Duties Responsibilities

• The Occupational Therapist / OT is responsible for the assessment of referred patients that require rehabilitation services which includes: providing direct patient care to assess their medical condition, functional capabilities, limitations and restrictions and potential for rehabilitation.
• Also, the Occupational Therapist / OT will establish and administer a treatment program with specific goals determined according to the patient's capacity and tolerance
• Develops a plan of care for each occupational therapy patient.
• Provides skilled occupational therapy services / interventions in accordance with physician orders.
• Assesses patient needs, plans for, evaluates and modifies care to meet goals of occupational therapy interventions.
• Collaborates with all disciplines to plan and evaluate team goals for each patient.
