Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an Occupational Therapist for a hospital setting in Texas. Candidates must hold an active Texas OT or COTA license and have at least 1 year of hands-on experience.

Inpatient rehab experience is preferred, with flexibility and initiative valued in a fast-paced environment. The assignment spans 13 weeks with a 7A-7P shift, requiring cross-unit collaboration, patient evaluations, and development of therapy plans.

• Minimum 1 year of experience.
• Inpatient rehab experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• 13-week assignment with a 7A-7P shift.
• Evaluate patients and plan therapy across hospital areas.
• Float to all areas as needed.
• On-call approximately 4 shifts per month.
• OTs evaluate and direct plans of care for patients.
• COTAs implement plans under the direction of a PT.
• Navy blue HCA scrubs required.
• Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility.

• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• Inpatient rehab experience preferred
• HCA Meditech experience preferred
• Flexible, self-starter personality fit preferred

Responsibilities

• 13-week assignment with a 7A-7P shift schedule
• Work across all areas of the hospital based on requests for patient evaluations and therapy treatment plans, including the inpatient rehab unit
• Float to all areas of the facility as needed
• On-call requirement of approximately 4 shifts per month
• Occupational Therapists complete evaluations and build and direct therapeutic plans of care for patients
• Certified Occupational Therapist Assistants complete therapeutic plans of care under the direction of a physical therapist
• Navy blue HCA scrubs required
• Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; no local candidates accepted
