Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a Travel Labor and Delivery RN for a travel nursing assignment in Borger, Texas. The position runs for 13 weeks, with 36 hours per week on a night shift, and requires ACLS/BLS and a minimum of 3 years of acute care experience.

Qualifications

• ACLS and BLS certifications are required.
• 3 years of recent acute care experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Stay with and monitor patient throughout labor.
• Monitor contractions and assist mother with breathing techniques.
• Check cervix periodically to monitor dilation.
• Maintain clean and dry beds and manage bodily fluids.
• Assist physician with delivery instruments and procedures.
• Provide immediate newborn care.
