Personal Touch Home Health Care Services Inc. seeks a Travel RN to cover the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) in Asheville, NC. You will deliver acute patient care on a 40-bed unit, manage admissions from the ED, and support throughput in a fast-paced environment.

The role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and clinical decision-making, with potential to float to other units as needed and to operate Cerner systems and Baxter IV pumps.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years recent experience in MedSurg, Telemetry, or Step-Down (PCU).
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS (preferred but not required).
• Strong teamwork, positive attitude, and adaptability in a dynamic environment.
• Experience or willingness to consider Charge Nurse responsibilities is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with admissions, medication reconciliation, and initiating acute care orders to optimize patient flow and reduce length of stay.
• Collaborating with a healthcare team, including CNAs and other staff, to ensure quality care.
