Staff Today is seeking a Travel Nurse RN specialized in Labor and Delivery for a 13-week assignment in Grants, New Mexico. The role requires 36 hours per week on a 12‑hour shift pattern, with competitive pay and travel stipends.

You will perform comprehensive patient assessments, create care plans, deliver direct maternity care, and coordinate with the team. NM RN license, BLS/CPR, and 1 year of L&D experience are required.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in NM or eNLC required.
• Minimum 1 year of Labor & Delivery experience.
• BLS/CPR certification required.

Responsabilités

Requirements

• Active New Mexico RN license or active Multi‑State Compact (eNLC) license.
• Valid Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR).
• Graduate of an accredited nursing school.
• 1 year of recent experience in Labor & Delivery.
• Additional certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, Intermediate Fetal Monitoring, OPS Emergency Workshop, STABLE; SAFER NM Technician preferred.

Responsibilities

Registered Nurse I (RN I) will provide comprehensive patient assessment, develop and implement individualized care plans, deliver direct patient care across the lifespan, coordinate patient education, supervise licensed practical nurses and other team members, document in electronic health records, collaborate with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary teams, participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives, and float to other departments as needed.
