Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery Nurse in a hospital setting. This role involves performing plan of care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, and clinical treatments. The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, monitor patient conditions, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams. Responsibilities include assisting with activities of daily living, supporting fetal monitoring, attending deliveries, and providing neonatal assessments post-delivery. The position requires certification in ACLS, BLS, NRP, STABLE, and AWHONN, along with an active RN license and recent experience in labor and delivery, postpartum, OB/GYN, or neonatal care.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Must have ACLS, BLS, NRP, STABLE, and AWHONN certifications (must be attached through the American Heart Association); active RN license (attached to resume); 2 years recent RN experience in Level 1 Nursery, Postpartum, OB/GYN, or L&D/LDRP; minimum of 0 years of experience required; located in the same state as the facility.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience caring for OB-GYN patients including post-op hysterectomy, antepartum care, triage, labor and delivery, and postpartum.
• Additional Information: Must circulate during C/Sections, assist with deliveries, and attend neonatal assessments post-delivery. Certification in fetal monitoring (biannual class) and NRP (if offered) is required. Candidates must follow facility policies and demonstrate the ability to communicate necessary information effectively to physicians and patients.
